(WSB Radio) The City of Marietta is out with new watering restrictions. WSB's Richard Sangster reports the city's drought response plan is based on usage, the more you use, the more you will pay.

Marietta Water General Manager Bob Lewis says "Our plan actually allows 15 days for the watering of newly installed landscaping for residential customers." That watering must be done between midnight and 10:00 a.m.

Other rules require car washes to recycle water, and residences or businesses with a leak must fix it within ten days or lose their service. All customers will go to a graduated billing that cost more the more water you use.
