| (WSB Radio) -- Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue has announced he's ordered state lawyers to withdraw a lawsuit aimed at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The suit was filed last month when the Governor became angry about the releases from Lake Lanier. "We do that obviously and continue to protect our legal options in the future if things don't go well. But I'm very optimistic that based on the progress we made in the last week this issue is being addressed in a very aggressive fashion." Georgia, Alabama, and Florida will meet again in Tallahassee on December 11th. |
