Atlanta police came upon the crooks early this morning, at Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, near the -75/85 connector.
Officers noticed boxes stacked up, approached the scene, and spotted the suspects unloading items off of CSX train cars.
Police say the thieves went from boxcar to boxcar, 19 in all, until they came upon boxes contained laptops and toys. As they were unloading the stolen merchandise, the police arrived.
Three suspects, ranging in age from 30 to 40 years old, were caught red handed. Two are in police custody, while the third is recovering at Grady Hospital. Officers say he tried to run and was injured when he jumped off the ramp at Hill Street.
Police recovered 26 Dell flat screen computers and other items taken off the boxcars.
