(WSB Radio) The dropping water levels in Lake Lanier continue to pose a challenge for workers who run marina's and boat shops. At Holiday Marina Scott Henderson of Adairsville was trying to get his 24 foot sailboat out of the water on Thursday.

Workers with Tug A Boat had to use an extra long trailer to get under the boat to keep the keel from hitting the mud. Ben Morgan tells Channel two Action News "Sailboats are difficult to pull out anyway, plus with the water level where it is, it just takes a little more finesse."

Holiday Marina has 12 hundred boat slips and right now over 300 hundred of them are above ground not water. After getting the boat out of the lake Henderson says it was quite a challenge and he is not planning on putting it back in the lake until the water levels come up.
