(WSB Radio) -- Delta Air Lines has agreed to sell ten Boeing 737-800 aircraft to CIT Group for an estimated $600 million. The aircraft were due to be delivered to Delta from Boeing in 2007 and 2008. Last week, a bankruptcy court judge cleared the way for Delta to sell some of its aircraft.

Delta has also tapped Orbitz to lower distribution costs. The company's "supplier link" service charges a flat $4 per processed ticket while airlines typically pay from about $12 to $14 per ticket. .
