DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Interstate 285 northbound has reopened after a car carrier caught on fire Monday afternoon.
DeKalb County Fire said the carrier fire happened under a bridge on the interstate at Covington Highway.
Capt. Dion Bentley said an engineer arrived to make sure the structural integrity of the bridge has not been compromised.
No injuries have been reported. The lanes reopened after 5 p.m.
