ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating a deadly crash.

Authorities said that officers received reports of a crash on Fairburn Road SW early Saturday.

Investigators said two cars were involved in a head-on crash.

The driver and passenger in one of the cars involved were pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said the second car’s driver was taken to the hospital, where her condition is unknown.

The identities of the victims have not been released.

Police have not provided details regarding what caused the crash.

The investigation remains ongoing.
