Brown was signed by the Patriots earlier in the month after the Oakland Raiders had released the wideout. Shortly after being signed by New England, Brown became the subject of sexual assault and rape allegations in a civil lawsuit out of Florida.
The wide receiver suited up for one game for the Patriots, hauling in the lone touchdown of his Pats career in the team's 43-0 win over Miami last Sunday.
