Nancy
Plum comes to WSB from Los Angeles, California where she was an award
winning announcer on various radio stations. Most recently she was
the midday airborne reporter on top rated KFWB-News 980 where she reported on
earthquakes, brushfires, floods, and plane crashes in addition to traffic
jams. Nancy's family roots are in the south and the move here
brought her closer to her brother in Dunwoody, niece in Buckhead and nephew in
Dacula. She has produced two videos about dogs that sell on the
internet and enjoys taking her gigantic Tibetan Mastiff to Piedmont Park's
off-leash dog run!
Kim McCarthy started reporting Atlanta traffic from the skies in 1997.
After a stint as a local D.J., the former Chicagoan joined the WSB traffic team
in 2001 as the weekday morning and afternoon anchor in the WSB Skyplane. You can
count on her to help you through the Saturday late morning/early afternoon "rush
hours" and construction delay headaches on AM 750 WSB, and on the noon news on
WSB TV Channel 2. You can also hear her on B98.5 FM in the afternoons with the
incomparable Jason Durden and each rush hour as the "Eye In The Sky" on KISS
104.1.
Kim and her husband reside in Sandy Springs with their menagerie of fish, birds,
and turtles. They enjoy the outdoors, camping, BBQ's, gardening, good friends,
and of course a good NASCAR race! In her spare time, Kim prefers to read and
needlepoint, and is looking forward to getting another motorcycle soon. "Look
Twice, Save A Life. Motorcycles Are Everywhere"!
