Today marks the start of in-classroom instruction for students and teachers in grades K through 8 in schools in Clarke County: students had been taking classes on line since the September start of the school year in Athens.

Students at Clarke Central and Cedar Shoals high schools will continue with distance learning through at least the end of the year.

From the Clarke Co School District website…

A few reminders as we welcome students back to their classrooms:

1. All students are required to wear a mask on the bus and in school.

2. Refillable water bottles will be provided for students.

3. All district buildings are closed to the public. If you think you need to visit your student’s school, please call the front desk before attempting to enter the building.
