New this morning:  scammers peddling fake iPads in convenience store and shopping center parking lots.

Atlanta poilce apparently working more than 30 cases and police in Florida and Texas are seeing this too.

The thieves approach potential victims, convince them to make the purchase, then are given a fed-ex box out of the car trunk that contains what looks like an ipad in bubble wrap.
turns out to be a plexiglas frame covered in black duct tape with an Apple symbol on the back and 'Best Buy' pricing label on the front
