A 7-year-old boy was the only student on a Gwinnett County School bus when it flipped about 6:30 this morning on Mink Livsey road near the Rockdale County Line. He was the bus driver's first pick-up of the day.
Police Sgt. J. Price told WSB's Richard Sangster, a driver behind the bus saw the wreck and immediately went to help. The man got the boy and driver out of the bus through the emergency door.
The driver lost control of the bus, overturned and went into a culvert. Because of the severity of the wreck the boy was taken to Children's Health Care-Egleston Hospital to be checked out.
