ATLANTA — Police are investigating a shooting that left a 20-year-old man injured on Thursday afternoon in southwest Atlanta.

Officers responded to a report of a person shot at 50 Mount Zion Rd. around 4 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital.

The current extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.
