ATLANTA — Police are investigating after a 31-year-old man was injured in a shooting in northeast Atlanta early on Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Auburn Avenue after reports of a shooting at 1:29 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a man with gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen.

He was rushed to the hospital. The identity of the victim and current extent of the victim’s injuries are unknown.

Investigators are working to determine what led up to the shooting.
