44-year-old man injured in northwest Atlanta shooting, police say

ATLANTA — Police in Atlanta are investigating a shooting that left one man injured on Tuesday morning.

Police responded to reports of a person shot at the 2200 block of Kennedy Court NW around 9:34 a.m.

Officers found a 44-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital. The current extent of the victim’s injuries and his identity is unknown.

Police say an incident happened at 3181 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy NW.

It is unknown what led up to the shooting or if anyone is in police custody.

The shooting remains under investigation.
