ATLANTA — One person has died after being shot in northwest Atlanta late on Thursday evening.

Officers responded to a person shot call at 308 Joseph Lowery Blvd. around 11 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive male victim with a gunshot wound.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. The identity of the victim was not released by police.

The shooting remains under investigation.
