FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A Fulton County jail detention officer was rushed to the hospital after being injured in an incident on Saturday afternoon.
Sheriff’s office officials say that a detention officer was assaulted at the jail.
The detention officer’s identity and current condition has not been released.
Officials are investigating what led up to the assault.
