Dunwoody City Council boosts local nonprofits, community centers

(DUNWOODY, Ga.) — The Dunwoody City Council approved grant funding for a number of local nonprofits operating in the Dunwoody-Sandy Springs-Chamblee area. The money comes from the American Rescue Plan of 2021, signed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Council’s approval of these grants will make a difference for our most vulnerable residents,” said Dunwoody City Manager Eric Linton. “These nonprofits provide a wide range of support and help us stretch these federal dollars to make them really count.”
