SILVER SPRING, MD — A serious warning has been placed on the drug Veozah because it could cause liver damage.

The FDA says women who are taking Veozah may need more frequent blood testing to check for markers of liver problems.

Veozah was approved last year and since its approval, use of the medication has steadily increased.

If you take the medication, you are urged to talk to your doctor.
