ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department is investigating after a 34-year-old man was shot and killed in Atlanta on Friday evening.

Police responded to the 1600 block of Kenmore Street in southwest Atlanta to a person shot call around 5:13 p.m.

When they arrived, they found a 34-year-old man with gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to the hospital where his injuries were described as “critical.”

The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital. The identity of the victim was not released.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
