ATLANTA — Emergency crews worked to rescue a 10-year-old boy who fell down a steep embankment after going sledding in a winter storm in Atlanta earlier this month.

The 10-year-old boy was sledding when he fell down the embankment in Peachtree Creek near Howell Mill Road, according to authorities.

Atlanta police, Atlanta fire rescue and swift water rescue teams worked together to help rescue the boy.

The boy was rushed to an area hospital.
