ATLANTA — Police are investigating after an 18-year-old man was shot and killed in northwest Atlanta on Friday evening.

Police responded to a person shot call at the Band-E Food Mart on 1097 Hollywood Rd. after 11 p.m.

Officers found the victim lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The identity of the victim was not released.
