ATLANTA — Police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured on Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the 2900 block of Landrum Drive SW after reports of two people who were shot around 7:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers located two women with gunshot wounds.

They were both transported to the hospital for treatment. The current extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.

The investigation is ongoing at this time, police say.
