ATLANTA — Police are investigating a shooting in northeast Atlanta that left one man injured on Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded to a shooting around 3:04 p.m. in the area of Angrier Avenue and Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officers found a 47-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

He was rushed to an area hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
