ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened Tuesday morning.
Around 11 a.m. APD officers responded to 490 Glenn Street in southwest Atlanta due to a report of a man who had been shot.
When officers arrived on scene, they located the man who had multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased by Grady EMS at the scene.
At this time, it appears police are focusing their investigation under a bridge.
Although it is unclear at this time what led up to the shooting, preliminary investigation reveals the victim met with a male suspect who, after exiting a vehicle, shot him multiple times before hopping back into the vehicle to escape the scene of the crime.
Police have not released the name or age of the victim.
The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
