ATLANTA — Police have charged two teenagers in a triple shooting that left a 14-year-old boy dead in downtown Atlanta. But officers are searching for another person involved in the shooting.
The shooting on July 3 happened when a group of teens got into a fight and gunfire rang out.
When officers arrived, they found 14-year-old Kaidan Barlow-Gardener unresponsive and two other teens with gunshot wounds. Barlow-Gardener later died.

While searching the area for additional victims and suspects, officers said they found and detained a 17-year-old in possession of a gun. The 17-year-old was identified as Keyontavious Tobias Hood. He was charged with possession of a pistol or revolver by a person under the age of 18 and taken to the Fulton County Jail.
“I seen a lot of commotion. I was like that was not a fight, that was gunshots,” a witness said. “By the time I got out of the car and got into the house, I just seen a lot of police cars and ambulances coming down here.”
During the investigation, Atlanta Police Homicide investigators were able to identify a 16-year-old as being involved in the homicide. He was taken into custody on a felony murder warrant and taken to the Metro Youth Detention Center.

Investigators said at least one other person was involved in this homicide and they are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
Investigators have released video footage showing the male in the area of the shooting and they are hopeful someone will recognize him and contact police with his identity.
