(ATLANTA, Ga.) — Westside Atlanta residents are taking on a major railroad company.

They told Channel 2′s Courtney Francisco the trains keep stopping on the tracks and leaving them trapped in their neighborhoods.

The intersection of Chappell Road in Hunter Hills neighborhoods is where neighbors say it happens almost every week.

Neighbors said the train blocks the intersection for such a long stretch. Some people said they started climbing over the train and under it to get to the other side of the road.

“They do not care. This is about money and we love people they step on us and that’s what they are doing. They are stepping on us,” neighbor John Wright said.
