ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating an early morning shooting call that left a man dead on Kingsboro Road in Buckhead.

Police said they were called out to the area just east of Lenox Square around 7 a.m. Saturday morning for reports of a man shot on Kingsboro Road between Oak Valley Road and Lakeside Drive.

When they arrived they found a 40-year-old man who was shot and was lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound.

Police told Channel 2′s Elizabeth Rawlins that the suspect is currently at large but did not have a description available. They told Rawlins that investigators are looking at surveillance cameras in the area to help them identify the suspect and determine who the situation unfolded.
