ATLANTA — A new body camera video shows the moments that led up to a deadly police shooting.
Three Atlanta police officers tried to get a man out of his wife’s SUV at an apartment in southeast Atlanta on Monday night.
The man walked off and pointed a gun at his head. The officers told him for several minutes to drop the gun.

“Put it down, put it down, put the gun down. He’s grabbing for something. He got the gun in his hand. Put it down,” said the female officer yelling in the video.
Seconds later, one officer shot the man one time.
The man died at Grady Memorial Hospital. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has taken over the case, which is normal procedure in cases like this.
