ATLANTA, GA — An attempted car break-in ends with the victim dead from an apparent heart attack in southwest Atlanta.

Police say the homeowner confronted the suspect early Friday at a home on King George Lane. The suspect pulled out a gun and fired, it but missed.

However, the victim collapsed in the doorway and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are searching for the suspect.
