Barclays Bank express concern for Atlanta based UPS’s future

Nurse's online petition demands UPS add air conditioning to trucks

ATLANTA, GA — Barclays Bank is expressing concern about the Atlanta based shipping giant’s earnings ahead of its third quarter results that will come out Thursday.

The bank is downgrading UPS citing likely short term risks to earnings from continued weakness in parcel demand.

There may also be longer term challenges from a potentially smaller relationship with Amazon and a growing competition from major rival, Fed-Ex.
