A man pretending to be a pizza delivery man approached a 16-year-old girl in Braselton and asked to use her cellphone. He was wearing a Papa John's uniform and driving a white sedan with a car top sign.  She walked on in her neighborhood and he started following her on foot.

"She started running," said Braselton Police Sgt. Michael Steffman.  The girl arrived home, and while her mother was on the phone with 911, the man circled the house in his car.

Steffman says he believes the uniform and car top were bought on eBay.  Several weeks ago, someone driving a white car stole a car-top sign from a pizza restaurant.

Steffman says police have been checking with other restaurants and no one matching the man's description delivers pizza for them.
