Carson Beck announces plans regarding his time at Georgia, NFL future

ATHENS — Carson Beck’s college career has come to an end.

The Georgia quarterback announced on social media that he would be declaring for the NFL draft, forgoing an additional year of eligibility.

Beck threw for 3,485 yards this season in addition to 28 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Beck led the SEC in both touchdown passes and interceptions this past season.

He went 24-3 as a starter in his Georgia career.
