5 men arrested for attempting to meet girls under 16 for sex, police say

WOODSTOCK, Ga. — Police have arrested five men who they say tried to meet girls under age 16 to have sex.

The GBI Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force assisted Woodstock Police in the weeklong undercover chat operation, which targeted online predators. All five men were arrested after chatting with someone they believed to be an underaged girl and then showing up to an undisclosed location to have sex.

Several other people were involved with online chats with someone they believed to be a young girl. Police also plan to secure arrest warrants for those suspects. Their identities have not been released.

The men who were arrested are

David Lara, 30, of Canton, was arrested for enticing a child to commit an indecent act, criminal attempt of child molestation and criminal attempt of aggravated child molestation.

Tagboo Nkemakonam Ezenwa, 28, of Lithia Springs, was arrested for child exploitation, criminal attempt at child molestation and criminal attempt of enticing a child for indecent purposes.

Ethan Leo Amuer, 20, of Alpharetta, was arrested for sexual exploitation of a child, criminal attempt of child molestation and criminal attempt of sodomy.

Mark Allen Blanton, 57, of Woodstock, was arrested for computer child exploitation.

Nicholas Dominguez, 24, of Canton, was arrested for computer child exploitation and criminal attempt of child molestation.
