Zarse and a friend were crossing the street at the time of the fatal crash. Her friend was not injured.

Shortly after the crash, investigators found the Accord involved in the crash, but the driver was nowhere to be found.

Once arrested, police say Gresham will be charged with homicide by vehicle, hit and run involving serious injury or death, failure to obey traffic control device, too fast for conditions and driving while unlicensed.

Anyone with information on where he may be should call 911.
