Cobb police credit new tools with murder suspect arrests

COBB COUNTY, GA — Cobb County Police arrest a trio of murder suspects in less than a month.

Police caught all three suspects between November 2 and December 1. The department credits its real-time crime center and network of license plate reading Flock Cameras with helping officers take down the suspects.

“Ordinarily, it would take much longer to find these people, but thanks to these new technologies that we have, we are able to instantly be notified when these people who have warrants are traveling through our area,” Cobb Police Officer Aaron Wilson told WSB.

The three suspects were wanted for separate murder cases in Fulton and Dekalb Counties and the City of Villa Rica.

Cobb Police have released body cam footage of the arrests here.
