Conyers couple shot, wife pronounced dead at scene

A Conyers man and woman were shot on Wednesday, with one killed and a suspect charged in the shooting.

On Christmas day, the Monroe Police Department say its officers responded to two people shot near the 400 block of Maple Way.

Police say when they arrived, they located two that were shot. Tyesha Colley, 35, of Conyers and husband Jermaul Colley, 41, were shot with Tyesha Colley pronounced dead at the scene.

Devin Sullivan, 21, of Monroe has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault and murder. Police say other charges are pending. This is an open and active investigation.
