ATLANTA — DeKalb County officials have reported a water main break along a busy stretch of North Druid Hills Road in Atlanta on Wednesday evening.

Crews are working to make repairs to a broken water main and have shut down lanes on North Druid Hills Road between Spring Creek Road and Willivee Drive.

This comes just a day after a water main break was reported in Brookhaven on Clairmont Road.

Officials had to close the street between Bragg Street and Dresden Drive. 20,000 residents have been impacted so far, according to DeKalb County officials.

The Department of Watershed Management says repairs will take place overnight between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Wednesday to Friday.

It’s unclear exactly how many lanes will close and the amount of time lanes will be closed.
