PAULDING COUNTY, GA — A major gasoline pipeline will likely remain shut down through Friday. Alpharetta-based Colonial Pipeline is working on repairs to a possible leak in Paulding County.
The line carries millions of gallons of gas a day from Texas to New Jersey.
Paulding Emergency Management is standing by, but at this point there are no evacuations, road closures, or known environmental impacts.
An expert with gas buddy says this is unlikely to affect gas prices unless it begins to impact refinery operations.
