An investigation is underway in Dekalb County after the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy.

Dekalb County police say they found the teen with a gunshot wound on Hatton Drive.

He died after he was taken to a local hospital. Authorities believe the victim and the suspect knew each other before the shooting, but police have not made any arrests.
