Delta Air Lines celebrates 100 years of flying at CES 2025 Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NV — Delta CEO, Ed Bastian, the head of Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines, talks about how technology is changing travel at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

From artificial intelligence to flying taxis, Bastian is excited about what’s ahead, telling Bloomberg the airline’s investment in Joby Aviation will give people access to flying taxis in the near future.

“It’s going to be a premium experience, which we specialize in. So, I’m excited about where it is going.”

This year, Delta’s launching a new AI tool within its app giving travelers more information about things like luggage drop-off locations and visa requirements and other customized guidance for their trips.
