Everyone is okay after a Delta plane has to quickly turn back to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

The Atlanta-based airline said a problem with the left engine on a flight headed to Sao Paulo forced pilots to quickly turn around after takeoff on Wednesday night.

One passenger said she heard a loud explosion and then saw flames. Delta placed impacted passengers on a second jet a few hours later.
