The family of a University of Georgia football player killed two years ago in a high-speed crash in Athens is suing the Georgia Board of Regents.
Devin Willock’s family claims the university negligently entrusted recruiting analyst Chandler Lecroy. with a rented SUV that she was driving at the time, hours after a national championship celebration.
Lecroy was also killed in the crash.
The suit seeks $2 million for Willock’s family which remains in litigation wit the university and Lecroy’s estate.
