Leaders in Georgia’s Republican party have expelled former Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan.

Duncan was unanimously voted out by the Executive Committee. He has been a vocal critic of Donald Trump and spoke at the Democratic National Convention last summer.

Duncan reacted to his expulsion on X saying, “Hard to believe this is a good use of time for a party that is only got a limited amount of time to figure out mass deportations, world peace, and global tariffs. Learn how to take a victory lap and not light another dumpster fire.”

The Georgia Republican party claims he has violated his oath of allegiance to the party many times, citing his endorsements of President Biden and Vice President Harris, and his speech at the DNC last August.
