DEKALB COUNTY, GA — The DeKalb County School Board has approved $9.4 million dollars to buy about two dozen electric buses.

They are being paid for with a federal grant and the buses will be used in under-served districts like Tucker Street, Stone Mountain, and Lithonia.

The buses should be running by this time next year.
