FORSYTH, GA — Police are investigating after a father and son are found dead at their home in Forsyth County on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Investigators say the ex-wife of 46-year-old Anthony Gennaro found his body at his home on Jefferson Place Wednesday morning when he didn’t show up to work.

She told deputies she suspected their 24-year-old son might be involved. The son, Anthony Persichetti, was found dead a short time later in the woods off North Druid Hills Road in DeKalb County with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Deputies think the father and son had a fight before the killing.

Their investigation continues.
