SUWANEE, Ga. — A 9,000-square-foot house was destroyed after a fire broke out early Sunday morning.

According to Gwinnett Fire and Emergency Services, just after 3:30 a.m. fire crews were called to the 4700 block of Cuyahoga Cove in Suwanee in reference to a house fire.

A 911 caller told first responders that the entire front of the house was on fire.

When firefighters arrived, they found the 9,000-square-foot, two-story mansion was fully involved throughout the central part of the house.

Gwinnett fire crews were able to put out the main part of the fire but continued working through Sunday morning to extinguish hotspots, the release states.

Fire officials say the homeowners are out of town. No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
