SANDY SPRINGS, GA — On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, the Sandy Springs police department received a call from a woman stating that her ex-boyfriend was harassing her.

Upon investigating the incident, a Forest Park police officer ended up behind bars himself.

Detectives discovered that Officer James Cameron Kea had harassed the victim on several different occasions. On Friday, February 7, 2025, Kea was arrested and charged with 14 felony and misdemeanor charges connected to harassing his ex-girlfriend on several different occasions.

Some of the charges include the following:

Five counts of computer invasion of privacy (felony)

Three counts of computer trespass (felony)

Computer forgery (felony)

Two counts of identification fraud (felony)

Forgery in the 1st degree (felony)

VGCSA/possession of cocaine (felony)

Stalking (misdemeanor)

Kea was booked into the Fulton County Jail last week on $54,000 dollars bond.
