DOUGLAS COUNTY — A former Douglas County jailer is under arrest on sex assault charges.
It comes after an internal investigation of alleged inappropriate conduct with an inmate by Jayavierre Johnson.
He faces three counts of sexual assault after the investigation found that he had sex with an inmate during time at the facility.
Johnson is currently being held in the Douglas County jail and is set to appear for a bond hearing later Friday.
