‘Friends Experience’ thrills fans in metro Atlanta

Friends fans, if you ever wanted to take a run into ‘Central Perk’ or see if you could *BE* wearing any more clothes, then a short trip to Sandy Springs is all you need: the ‘Friends Experience’—The One in Atlanta.

It is a an interactive, social media friendly touring exhibit that allows you to frequent some of your favorite Friends haunts.

Jonathan Mayers’s company Super Fly X is responsible for setting up the the sets.

Mayers tells 95.5 WSB’s Michelle Wright that while Friends ended it’s run 17 years ago, the fan base is not only solid but growing.

Now, the show’s ever-growing fan base can snap photos in countless memorable situations.

For the $32-admission, you can recreate the opening credits, use a stick to try and poke ugly naked guy or plop down in Joey and Chandler’s iconic recliners.

And if you are wondering about COVID protocols, the organizers say they have got you covered.

During the experience, you are in a small group that rotates through each exhibit every 10 minutes.

And multiple sanitizing stations are there to make sure things are not just clean—they are Monica-clean.
